ABOUT
OUR MISSION: PRESERVING CULTURAL HERITAGE
The Ancient History Foundation (AHF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and conservation of archaeological sites and cultural heritage. Our mission is to work collaboratively with local communities, archaeologists, and other stakeholders to protect and preserve some of the world's most important archaeological sites.
GET INVOLVED: VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
AHF recognizes the importance of involving local communities in the preservation of their cultural heritage. We provide training and resources to help local communities become involved in the conservation effort. By working together with local residents and archaeology professionals, we can ensure the long-term preservation of these precious sites.
ADVANCING RESEARCH: EQUIPMENT DONATION
AHF donates excavation equipment to help advance the research and preservation of archaeological sites. This includes state-of-the-art technology such as ground-penetrating radar and 3D scanning equipment, which allows archaeologists to gather more accurate and comprehensive data about the sites they are studying. By providing this equipment, AHF enables archaeologists to conduct their work more efficiently and effectively.
CONNECTING COMMUNITIES: COLLABORATION AND KNOWLEDGE-SHARING
AHF connects groups of volunteers and archaeologists with existing research and excavations all over the world. By facilitating collaboration and knowledge-sharing between different groups and organizations, AHF helps to advance the field of archaeology and ensure the long-term preservation of cultural heritage. Through its work, AHF is helping to protect some of the world's most important archaeological sites for future generations to enjoy and learn from.
